How do you create and customize Multiple Choice Questions in Wooflash?
MCQs are an essential tool for assessing knowledge, measuring participants’ understanding, and promoting active learning.
A Multiple Choice Question must include at least one correct answer. You can add an image or audio file to the question and to the answer choices. You can also add a comment to explain the correct answer to learners.
Creating an MCQ
Enter your course and click Create a question (or Create my first question if you have not created any yet). Then select the MCQ question type under Questions.
Creating an MCQ using AI
You can also create your questions using Wooflash’s AI. To do this, click Generate questions with AI. Choose your source and select MCQ as the question type. Our AI will create questions that you can modify or delete as you wish.
You can then generate more questions or add them to your course.
Importing questions
You can import questions from a file or from Wooclap, among others. This saves you from having to recreate all your questions from scratch.
Customizing your MCQ
Once your MCQ is created, start by writing your question (1). Then enter the answer choices and check the correct answer(s) (2). You can always add more choices by clicking Add a choice. You can delete choices using the trash icons on the right.
Finally, you can add optional feedback or additional explanations that will appear once learners have answered the question (3). You can generate this feedback using our AI by clicking Generate feedback.
You can format your text or insert audio, an image, or a video using the formatting toolbar that appears when you click in a field.
Under Options, you will see three additional settings for your question:
Random mode lets you decide whether to display the answers in the set order or in random order.
Allow multiple selections allows learners to check more than one answer. If you do not select this option, learners will only be able to choose a single answer.
Add feedback for each choice allows you to add a comment (feedback) under each answer, which appears once the learner responds.
Once your question is customized, don’t forget to click Finish. The question will then be saved in your course. You can also click Create another question if you want to continue working on your course.
