Import your questions into Wooflash
If you have already created questions in a file or on another platform, you can use the Import Questions feature.
You can import content from another Wooflash course, a file, a list, a Wooclap event, or from public content.
If you’d like to generate content using Wooflash’s AI, check out our dedicated article.
From another Wooflash course
Browse your list of courses and select the one from which you want to import questions.
You can choose to import the entire course, specific chapters, or individual questions.
The selected questions will be grouped into a chapter in your new course.
From a file
You can import questions from an Excel file (xls, xlsx, ods, csv), a PowerPoint file (ppt, pptx, key, pps, pot, ppsx, potx, odp), a PDF file, or from Moodle or Pronote (xml).
For Excel and CSV files, you can find the required templates for importing your questions.
For XML files, you can find the list of compatible question types in this article.
From a list
You can create questions from a list of words or facts that you've imported.
This tool allows you to import a list of words and automatically create different types of questions: Flashcards, Multiple Choice (MCQ), Short Answer, Matching, or Categorization.
Choose your question type and paste your list into the Text section (1).
Then add formatting options so that Wooflash can correctly convert your questions (2).
You can also choose to swap the elements in your list, useful for vocabulary lists in language courses.
Finally, select the section or chapter of the course where you want to import this list.
☝️ When creating questions from a list, the question title will automatically use elements from the question itself. Feel free to edit the title as you wish.
From Wooclap
From the tab, click Import, and you’ll be redirected to your Wooclap portal with the list of all your events.
Then select the event and the questions you want to import into your Wooflash course.
You can import questions from a Live session or a Self-paced session.
☝️ If you’re not logged into your Wooclap account, you’ll be prompted to sign in first.
From public content
Need inspiration? Take a look at our public content library.
Every Wooflash user can make their account public and share their content with other teachers or students.
You can refine your search by entering a keyword in the search bar or by filtering the library’s content by category (History, Mathematics, Geography), language, target audience (teacher, student), or by tags.
