How to create and customize Audio-type questions in Wooflash

The Audio question offers a dynamic way to assess learners’ knowledge through the integration of sound files. Easy to create and customize, it allows you to add a title, an audio file, an expected answer, and even optional feedback.

Create an Audio question

Enter your course and click Create a question (or Create my first question if you haven’t created any questions yet). Then select the Audio question type under Questions.

Import questions

You can import questions from a file or from Wooclap, among others. That way, you don’t need to recreate all your questions from scratch.

Customize your Audio question

Once your Audio question is created, you can start by writing a title (1). Then add your audio file (2). You can add it from a link or by uploading an audio file. You can also record your audio directly.

Next, write the expected answer (3). Finally, you can add optional feedback or additional explanations that will appear once learners have answered the question (4).

You can format your text or insert sound, an image, or a video thanks to the formatting bar that appears when you click in a field.

Under Options, you will see two additional settings for your question:

  • Ignore case sensitivity (uppercase and lowercase)

  • Add a tag to your question

Once your question is customized, don’t forget to click Finish. The question will then be saved in your course. You can also click Create another question if you want to keep working on your course.

Review an Audio question

Learners will be able to play the audio file and then enter their answer below. Once that’s done, they can click Answer. Learners will then see the correct answer appear, as well as any feedback you have written.
