Creating True or False questions on Wooflash

A True or False question allows you to quickly assess learners’ understanding of a concept by asking them to judge whether a statement is correct or not. This helps identify key ideas while reinforcing memory retention.

Create a True or False question

Enter your course and click on Create a question (or Create my first question if you haven’t created any question yet). Then select the True or False question type under Questions.

Import questions

You can import questions from a file or from Wooclap, among others. This way, you don’t need to recreate all your questions from scratch.

Customize your True or False question

Once your True or False question is created, start by writing your question (1). Then enter the answer choices and choose whether each statement is true ✅ or false ❎ (2). You can add more statements at any time by clicking on Add a proposal. You can delete statements using the trash icons on the right.

Finally, you can add an optional feedback message or additional explanations that will appear once learners have answered the question (3).

You can format your text or insert audio, an image, or a video thanks to the formatting toolbar that appears when you click on a field.

Under Options, you will find three additional settings for your question:

  • Random mode lets you decide whether the answers should be displayed in the defined order or randomized.

  • Add feedback for each statement allows you to add a comment (feedback) under each answer, which will appear when learners respond.

  • You can also add tags to your question.

Once your question is customized, don’t forget to click Finish. The question will then be saved in your course. You can also click Create another question if you wish to continue working on your course.

Review a True or False question

When reviewing the True or False question, you will need to choose True ✅ or False ❎ for each statement. Once you click Submit, the correct answers will appear along with any feedback if the question includes it.
