This question type allows you to place numbers on an image and ask your learners to identify the designated labels. You can also choose to add a blur effect, which is useful for hiding an existing caption, or include synonyms.
Create a Label an image question
Go to your course and click on Create a question (or Create my first question if you haven't created one yet). Then, select the Label an image question type under Questions.
Customize your Label an image question
Once your Label an image question is created, you can start by writing your question (1). Next, add the image you wish to label (2); the size of uploaded media cannot exceed 500 MB.
Finally, you can add optional feedback or additional explanations that will appear once learners have answered the question (3).
Once the image is uploaded, click on Add a label. You can then place numbers on the image to have your learners identify what the designated areas correspond to.
Note: You can also add a blur (useful for hiding an existing caption, for example).
You can format your text or insert audio, images, or video using the formatting bar that appears when you click on the question text.
Under Options, you will see 4 additional settings for your question:
Ignore case (uppercase and lowercase)
Ignore accents
Ignore punctuation
Add a tag to your question
Once you have customized your question, remember to click Finish. The question will then be saved to your course. You can also click Create another question if you wish to continue working on your course.
