How to set up and customize Find on Image questions?
The Find on Image question is a creative way to ask questions by uploading an image and asking people to spot or identify items in it.
Create a Find on Image Question
First, open the course of your choice where you want to add a Find on Image question. You can also start from scratch by creating an entirely new course.
Click Create a question and select Find on Image under Questions.
Import Questions
You can import questions from a file or from Wooclap, among others. This saves you from recreating all your questions from scratch.
Customize the Find on Image Question
Once you have created your Find on Image question, you can add an image and define the correct labels.
Start by adding the question you want to ask (1). Upload an image and select the appropriate area(s) (2). You can import an image from your computer or from a URL link.
Mark the Correct Area(s)
A Find on Image question must include at least one correct answer. To add an area, click on the shape you want (circle or rectangle) and drag-and-drop the green shape onto the correct area (for example, the femur).
Resize the area until it only covers the correct part of the image. Repeat these steps to add more correct answers.
☝️Please note that horizontal images tend to appear smaller on participants’ devices than on the presenter’s screen.
For a smoother experience, it is best to use portrait-format images in .jpg, .png, or .gif formats.
You can format your text or insert sound, an image, or a video using the formatting toolbar that appears when you click in a field.
Under Options, you can create or select tags for your question. These tags will help you get a clearer overview when reviewing your results.
Once your question is customized, don’t forget to click Finish. The question will then be saved in your course. You can also click Create another question if you wish to continue working on your course.
