How to create study sessions with Wooflash

Wooflash is an interactive learning platform designed to help students study effectively through quizzes, flashcards, and personalized exercises. Easy to use, it allows you to test your knowledge and track your progress in real time.

Creating or joining a Wooflash course

You can find out how to create your own courses in our article: How to create a course on Wooflash?

Once you have created or joined a course, it's time to study!

Different study modes

There are several ways to study your Wooflash courses: an adaptive pathway or a linear pathway.

The adaptive pathway

This pathway allows you to work on the learner's weaknesses. The questions that the learner gets wrong reappear at the end of the current study session and first thing during the next study session. The goal is to rework the less understood points as much as possible to better anchor the knowledge. Questions do not appear in the order in which they were created.

The linear pathway

Questions appear in the order in which they were created. The goal is to follow a specific micro-learning path: for example, a PowerPoint or PDF course material enhanced with questions between each slide.

The adaptive study mode, recommended by Wooflash, is activated by default for all courses.

You can change the study pathway from your course settings.

Studying a course you created yourself

If you wish to change your learning method for only one study session, click the ⚙️ gear icon to the right of the Study button.

You can choose to:

  • Study using the Wooflash memory anchoring method

  • Study all questions in order

  • Study all questions in a random order

  • Only study questions I have never seen

☝️ During the following session, the study mode will revert to the one chosen in the course settings.

Studying a joined course

To study a course you have joined, select the course in question and then choose whether you want to study the entire session or a specific chapter.

Studying a joined course

Just like with a course you created, you can choose to change your learning method for only one study session by clicking the ⚙️ gear icon to the right of the Study button.

☝️ You cannot change the permanent study settings for courses you have joined.

Results

At the end of each session, you will be kept informed of your progress. You will find the number of correct answers given during the session, this result translated into a percentage, your progress in the course, and your mastery rate.
