Understanding and using Game Mode in Wooflash

Turn study time into playtime! Wooflash’s Game Mode is designed to transform standard course material into an interactive, high-stakes challenge that keeps learners engaged and motivated. Whether you are looking to test your own knowledge or spark some friendly competition among students, Game Mode adds a layer of excitement to the traditional review process.

Setting up a Game

To create a Game from one of your courses, first go into said course. Next, click the 3 dots next to the Share button, then select Games. Here you will see a list of already created Games (if you have created any). You can create a new Game by clicking on Create a game.

Give this new Game a title, and select a Game type. Finally, you can choose which chapter(s) to use for this Game.

You have now created your first Game! You can later edit or delete the Game by clicking on the pencil or bin.

Playing a Game

Playing a Game is similar to creating one: in your course, click the 3 dots next to the Share button, then select Games. Click on Play next to a Game and you will be able to play it. You will then see the instructions for the Game. Click on Get Ready to launch the Game.

You can also see the scores and top players for the game by clicking on the Podium.

Rising Waters

In Rising Waters, you will need to correctly answer as many questions as possible before the water overflows. Each correct answer gives you more time; each wrong answer wastes time.

Once you click on Get Ready, you will see a countdown. Here, you can choose to disable or enable all sounds. You will then have to answer a series of questions to gain time and points.

You can always choose to leave the Game in the upper-right corner. At the end of the Game, you will see your score.
