Activating the "Accessibility" option in Wooflash
The Réseau Canopé describes digital technologies as an added value for dyslexic students:
"The use of digital technologies by dyslexic students opens new paths for accessibility to written language by facilitating their access to text and providing scaffolding during the transition to writing.
The use of these tools can be a driver of progress, provided that procedures for assessing the student's needs are ensured, the social acceptability of digital tools is taken into account, and support for use is designed by teachers within the framework of Universal Design for Learning (transposition of architectural accessibility principles into the educational context to anticipate needs as much as possible).
... the use of digital technologies lessens difficulties in learning written language by relieving students of the challenges of transcription in writing and decoding in reading, thus freeing up the necessary resources to carry out these activities more effectively."
How to activate the "accessibility" option
Go to the tab displaying your username and then click on Settings in the menu that appears.
Then, go to the Accessibility tab and activate the option Use a font designed to increase readability.
