Wooflash User Guide for GAR Teachers
The GAR is the French national system that allows students and teachers in public primary and secondary schools (from kindergarten to high school) to access digital educational resources, such as Wooflash, via their school's ENT (Espace Numérique de Travail).
The GAR is strictly reserved for public primary and secondary education. It does not cover private institutions, universities, or higher education.
Logging in
Users log in via their institution's ENT. The GAR authenticates users in the background and directs them straight to Wooflash, bypassing the Wooflash login page.
Data
For those using the GAR, the username is replaced by a GAR ID. The GAR ID is a unique code that identifies you on Wooflash. This code is represented by gar- followed by a long series of numbers and letters.
You will also find your last name, first name, sector, and role.
☝️ All information displayed in your profile is provided to us by the GAR. If you wish to modify any information, please contact your GAR administrator (référent).
Sharing content
Course sharing is different for GAR users. Content can only be shared with the classes and groups that have been assigned to you.
You can also share your courses with a specific student who is assigned to your classes and groups.
It is not possible to share your courses outside of your institution. However, you can make your content public to share it with other teachers.
If you teach in two schools, you can access both institutions from Wooflash. You will need to log in from both ENTs to be able to access the content via a single account.
On the student side, shared courses will appear in the section Courses I can join.
The student is not yet a participant in these courses until they click the Join button.
Once they have joined the course, it will move to the All my courses section.
Until they join the course, they will not appear in the course's student list or statistics.
☝️ Can't find your classes, groups, or students? Contact your GAR administrator and verify that they have been correctly assigned to you.
