If a third-party login (SSO, Moodle, Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, or Facebook) is your only way to log in to Wooflash, here is how to ensure you always have access to your account and content.
Wooflash lets you log in in several ways: SSO, Moodle, Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, Facebook, or email + password. If you only ever use one of the first five methods, your access depends entirely on that third-party login remaining available. If it becomes unavailable, you will no longer be able to reach your account or your courses.
Your content is never deleted. No courses are lost. But without an alternative login set up on the same email address, you will not be able to reach them.
The solution is simple: add a local account (email + password) on the same email address. Once you verify that email address, all accounts linked to it are automatically merged, and your new login gives you access to all your existing courses.
Create a local account
Here are the steps to create a local account:
Go to the Wooflash registration page
Enter the email address linked to your current login (the one you use for SSO, Moodle, or your social account) and choose a password.
Click Create an account.
Open your inbox and click the verification link in the email you received from Wooflash (check your spam folder if you do not see it).
Once your email address is verified, log out of Wooflash and log back in using your email address and password. You will find all your courses there.
Note: When you go through registration, Wooflash may ask you for a few details (first name, last name, and so on). This is completely normal. You are creating a new account, and these details are needed to set it up. As soon as your email address is verified, this new account merges with your existing account, and all your content becomes accessible.
What happens after verification?
Once your email address is verified, all Wooflash accounts linked to that address are merged into one. You can then log in with your email and password at any time, regardless of whether your other login method is available, and you will find all the courses you have ever created.
